Assessment Process

Step One  Hazard Identification - all tasks, situations and occurrences with the potential to harm are identified.

Step Two  Risk Assessment - assess the risk associated with each hazard.

Step Three  Control Selection - select risk control measures in response to the risk.


Control Process

Step Four  Control Implementation - plan for and implement changes to process or workplace to eliminate or limit hazards.

Step Five  Review and Improve - review control measures for effectiveness
